It has been a while since I have posted on here and for good reason.
A couple of months or so ago my Granda was diagnosed with a very aggressive cancer and given only a few weeks to live. Everything was on hold. Nothing could have really prepared any of us for it and it just threw everything out of balance and all focus was on spending as much time as possible with him as we could. The gym was the last thing on my mind.
Unfortunately, he lost his battle a short while after.
Only now am I beginning to get back into the routine of monitoring my eating and getting into my workouts again.
It just shows that your progress will be altered by factors you cannot control. The important thing is that you enjoy your life and keep your end goal in mind. You’ll get there eventually, regardless of what life throws at you and how long it takes. Just don’t ever put the gym before other things that are more important.
