Want to know what I’ve been up to?
Breaking my leg/ankle, that’s what. Yup, I’ve only gone and snapped my oblique lateral malleolus or whatever that is.
Was playing football on Sunday just passed and somehow I rolled my ankle on the ball sending my leg one way and my ankle the other way. I won’t go into too much detail, but the noise that everyone heard was enough to give me nightmares. Pretty much knew it was broken immediately.
A few X rays later and here’s the result.
Anyways, that’s kind of put me out of action for the next little while, so I’m going to be blogging quite a bit more in the coming weeks.
Mostly about my recovery process, maintaining muscle and what I’m doing to ensure that I minimise any loss of size. It’s going to be a different approach and not one that I thought I would be taking, but hey ho. Shit happens.
